Dental & Vision

Dental Services
Vision Insurance
Dental Services: Risas helps our teammates, their spouse, and their children protect their smiles with free dental care including regular checkups, cleanings, X-rays, and braces. Several studies suggest that oral diseases, such as periodontitis (gum disease), can affect other areas of your body—including your heart. Receiving regular dental care can protect you and your family from the high cost of dental disease and surgery. Fees associated with the oral surgery and Risas Kids are offered to teammates at a discounted rate. Teammates who have completed 90 days of employment and average more than 30 hours per week may take advantage of this benefit.
Vision Insurance: Risas offers quality vision care for all teammates, their spouse, and children through EyeMed. The vision insurance includes discounts on Lasik, additional glasses, nonprescription, and hearing care. In addition, members will receive the Freedom Pass, which grants free frames from top brands like Ray Ban, Oakley, Coach, Michael Kors, Vogue and more at Target Optical, Sears Optical and Lens Crafters. Additional information, including provider directories, detailed plan descriptions, member forms, FAQ’s and prescription drug lists can be found online EyeMed.com.

Savings Account

Flexible Savings
Health Savings
Dependent Flexible Savings
Flexible Savings Account (FSA): A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a special account you put money into, that you use to pay for certain out of-pocket health care costs. You don’t pay taxes on this money. One of the great benefits of the FSA is you are given access to the full years worth of funds up front. For example, if you are contributing $100 a month which is $1,200 a year, once you receive your debit card you will have access to the full $1,200 even if you have only contributed $100 to date. This is beneficial if you plan to have a major procedure or deliver a baby early in the year. You will have the funds just in time. However, you cannot stockpile money in your FSA. If you do not use it by the end of the year, you lose it.
Health Savings Account (HSA): A Health Savings Account (HSA) lets you set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses. By using untaxed dollars in a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for deductibles, coinsurance, and other medical expenses, you may be able to lower your overall health care costs. You must be enrolled in the HSA medical plan to select this benefit. Like a savings account your HSA will earn interest and once you reach $2,000 in your account you can invest the money in various funds to potentially amplify growth. One of the biggest benefits of an HSA is that you do not need to use it all by the end of the year. You will have access to all of the money in your account, even if you leave Risas.
Dependent Flexible Savings Account (DFSA): Dependent Care FSAs allow you to contribute pre-tax dollars to qualified dependent care. This is a great benefit for those who have children in daycare or a dependent parent in elder care. You may use your DFSA debit card to pay for your daycare expenses or pay cash and submit receipts for reimbursement. Unlike the traditional FSA, the funds only become available as they are deducted from your check. We recommend you check with your day care or elder care facility to be sure the qualify before you enroll in this benefit.

Invest In Your Future

401 K
Tuition Assistance
C.A.S.H. Program
401K: Risas helps teammates plan for their future by providing a 401k. This benefit is a great way to save for retirement. You are able to contribute pre-tax dollars into an account for your future. Risas then matches 100% of your contributions, dollar for dollar, up to 3% of eligible pay and an additional 50% match, dollar for dollar, for 2% of eligible pay. If you want to maximize your 401k potential, you can have 5% of your pay go to the 401k.

Once you are enrolled in the 401k you can invest your funds into the various stocks, bonds, and mutual fund offerings provided. If you are not an expert at investing there are many great resources on the ADP website, or you can simply sit back and do nothing. The funds in your account will be invested for you by ADP.
Tuition Assistance: Risas believes in investing in the learning and development of our teammates, which is why we offer tuition reimbursement. Teammates can receive up to $3,000 a year in reimbursement with no cap on the number of times you can use this benefit. So whether you are interested in earning a college degree or your EDDA certification, be sure to check out this benefit. You can learn more about this benefit by accessing the benefit guide on the ADP homepage.
Risas believes in supporting our teammates in achieving their personal and professional goals. For those who are looking to add home ownership to their list, we have put together a comprehensive program to help them get the home of their dreams. Whether you are a first-time buyer or already own a home the CASH program can help make the home buying/selling process easier. The Home C.A.S.H Program assists with credit repair, assistance with down payment and student loans, and purchasing or selling a home.

Free Diapers and Wipes

Did you know that not all healthcare providers are equal? Some facilities offer higher standards of care and have fewer provider errors or resulting complications. Risas wants to ensure that our expecting teammates are receiving the best care possible with the lowest risk for complications, which in turn keeps healthcare costs lower for Risas and our teammates. To help our expecting teammates make an informed decision, we used independent, third-party organizations to score providers on factors such as quality outcomes and lack of provider errors. Risas then selected several four-star healthcare providers from each of our markets that we would like to recommend to any teammate, spouse, or dependent who is expecting. We encourage you to speak with your OBGYN to arrange delivery at the preferred facilities. As an incentive, Risas will be offering a year’s supply of diapers and wipes for your little one when you use a preferred facility to deliver your baby. For details on the program please refer to our benefit guide located on the ADP homepage.

2nd Family Risas

2nd Family Foundation

The 2nd Family Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was created to help our teammates, their spouse, and children who are going through a personal issue and are in need of support and resources. All teammates qualify whether they are full time or part time, a new hire or tenured. The foundation is usually able to provide support for situations such as death of spouse or child, financial hardship, severe injury or illness, evictions, domestic abuse, and other catastrophic or extreme situations.
